André Ong is the Senior and Founding Pastor of ICCSD. His ministry experiences include being a minister with International Students Incorporated (ISI) and International Christian Fellowship (ICF) since 1996; Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1994 to 1996; and Prison Chaplain at The San Diego Juvenile Hall in 1996.

André’s educational experiences includes a Ph. D. in Religion focusing in philosophy, theology, ethics and culture at Claremont Graduate University; a Masters at Bethel Theological Seminary in San Diego in 1996; Philosophy Courses at Trinity International University in Anaheim, California and San Diego State University; Cambridge Advanced level certificate in Divinity in 1987.

Pastor André’s love is especially in composing praise and worship songs; helping Christians understand the world better through Christian lenses and helping the unchurched understand Christ better through philosophy, theology and Christian apologetics. He enjoys cooking, good food, great conversation, and good movies.

Our Mission Statement. To present the exciting and complete Gospel of Jesus Christ to internationals in such a way that turns non-Christians into believers, believers into disciples, and discipiles into mature, fruitful servants who will in turn go into the world and reach others for Christ.

The History of ICCSD. ICCSD was first formed in 1999 with a focus on meeting the needs of internationals in San Diego. Through the grace of God ICCSD was able to become one of the first Christian organizations in the country to focus exclusively on the international community as well as being run by an international community.
