Everything I Have is Yours Luke 15:11-32

Luke 15:31 (NIV) 
    " 'My son,' the father said, 'you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.

1. We do not know what we really have until we rediscover afresh what we have lost or when we have been deeply awakened to what we really have

Matthew 16:25 (NLT) 

    If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.

Have a deep twin awareness of our spiritual poverty without God and becoming aware of His awesome excessive love of me

Application:

2. When we see God running 999 sacrificial and loving steps towards us with open arms, we can pray, work, put on misery or simply accept His love with open arms

It is not that our repentance gets God’s love – it is God’s welcoming and outreaching love that makes it easier to come to Him that enables our repentance 

Ephes. 1:18 (NIV) 

    I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

3. To accept God’s loving steps towards us is to be awakened spiritually, internally and continually to the extravagant abundance we already have available in Jesus

John 19:30 (NIV) 

    When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Luke 22:60-62 (NIV) 

    Peter replied, "Man, I don't know what you're talking about!" Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter…And he went outside and wept bitterly.
